Lock down to open in Delhi from Monday: Kejriwal

 Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday that the unlock process will be started in the capital from Monday. He told that during this time the interests of daily laborers will be given priority.

The corona situation in Delhi now appears to be slowly coming under control. Daily cases have fallen below 1500 and positivity rates have also fallen below 3 percent. The Chief Minister said that the unlock process will be done in phases. Not all activities will be unlocked simultaneously.

Keeping in mind the interest of daily wage laborers, only construction activities and factories will be able to reopen from Monday. A detailed guideline will be issued for this.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority chaired by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. Kejriwal said that people still need to be very restrained.

Chopped from Colombia to host Copa America football tournament

 Colombia is removed from the co-hosts of the Copa America Football Tournament in view of the growing Corona virus case in the country. The Confederation of South America Football (Conmembol) gave information about this. The four cities of Colombia were scheduled to compete against the Copa America and the final match was to be held on July 10 at the Barquila Estadio Metropolitano.   According to sources, Conmembol issued a statement saying, "In the coming days, information will be given as to where the matches in Colombia will be held."   Colombian Sports Minister Ernesto Lukena told Conmembol that the tournament be postponed until the Corona virus ban is lifted. It was only after this that the Confederation announced the removal of Colbya from co-hosting.
