New Delhi Construction activities are likely to begin in Delhi from Monday, but this is of no importance to the nearly 1.5 million traders in Delhi. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has called this decision of the Delhi government the most irrational. CAIT has said that without opening the marke t , how the construction activities will be conducted in the absence of necessary construction materials and other items is a big question. Similarly, the factories will also not have the raw materials required by them for production, as markets in Delhi are closed. According to CAIT, as per the order of the Delhi government , only construction activities and factories are allowed to operate in the first phase and Delhi markets will remain closed till June 7 at 5 am and Delhi traders will have a week to wait.
