 Patna | All the 19 teams of the 9th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force are deployed in various districts of Odisha,Jharkhand and Bihar equipped with state-of-the-art disaster management and communication equipment to deal with cyclone 'Yas'. In view of the threat of cyclonic storm, the state government had already issued a high alert in their respective states, keeping the 9th battalion NDRF teams stationed in Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal for rescue and relief operations.  The 9th Battalion Commandant Vijay Sinha said on Wednesday, "All the teams are deployed in various districts of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar to deal with cyclone YAS. These teams comprise a total of around 500 rescuers during cyclone Yas. It is ready to face every challenge and provide all possible help to the local people in times of disaster. ”

 In the meantime, NDRF rescuers are also organizing awareness programs among the local people to avoid this cyclone in various districts, following all the guidelines of prevention of corona virus infection and seeing the potential dangers. Are transported to safe places.
